Mac OS X 10.13.2 released on resolves this issue.

Our testing has shown that AVB was not functioning correctly in the 10.13 High Sierra beta, 10.13.0, or 10.13.1.

Resolved: Universal Control 2.3 released on Scontains firmware 1.49 which resolves this issue. Solution: Setting interface back to 44.1kHz or 48kHz and internal sync, then power cycling the 1818VSL returns it to its unaltered state. Selecting Internal Sync Clock Source will get them to re-appear, then selecting Wordclock will toggle clock source correctly but then no audio will come out of the interface.When 88.2kHz or 96kHz sample rates are selected, the Input and Output configurations shown in UC Surface do not match and must be toggled manually in Audio MIDI Setup-however, audio still may not pass through interface. Problem: Changing the clock source from Internal to ADAT or Wordclock will result in all the inputs disappearing. Universal Control 2.2 (or class compliant operation with no UC installed) Universal Control 2.5.1 with firmware 1.8-31 resolves this issue. Workaround : The Studio 192 can be used with Internal Sync and SPDIF Sync at 44.1 and 48 kHz sample rates. Then power cycle Studio 192 to return it to its unaltered state. Solution: To restore audio, set Sync Source to internal. Selecting Internal Sync Clock Source will get them to re-appear, then selecting Wordclock will toggle clock source correctly, but then no audio will come out of the interface. Problem : Changing the clock source from Internal to ADAT or Wordclock will result in all inputs disappearing. Universal Control 2.2 or Universal Control 2.3 (or class compliant operation with no UC installed) When we deem it safe to upgrade to High Sierra, we will notify all registered users and update this article here. NOTE: If you want to run 10.13 High Sierra, we strongly suggest that you create a separate partition on your hard drive and install OS X 10.13 there in a multi-boot configuration so that you can test all of your software installations separately.
